Your privacy matters to us. We collect only what we need to reply to you, deliver great work and run our studio, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
GraphicsGround LLC (“GraphicsGround”, “we”, “us”) is a brand, motion and pitch deck design studio. We run graphicsground.com and provide design services to clients around the world.
We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Our registered address is 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. If you have a question about this policy, email us at suvas@graphicsground.com.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, download a free resource, book a call or work with us, and how we use and protect it.
It does not cover websites or services run by others, even if we link to them.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Project inquiries. When you send a project brief, we collect your name, email address, company or website, the services you need, your deadline, your budget range and anything you write in your message.
- Free resources. When you request a download, we collect your name, email address and whether you’d like to hear about new resources.
- Calls and messages. When you book a call, email us or message us on WhatsApp, Telegram or LinkedIn, we receive your contact details and what you share in the conversation.
- Client projects. When we work together, we receive the materials you share with us, such as decks, brand files, product screens, data and copy, plus billing details like your name, company and address.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data. Like most websites, our servers and security providers record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the time of your visit.
- Cookies and analytics. We may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it. See Cookies and analytics below.
We don’t ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you don’t send it to us.
How we use your information
- To reply to your inquiry and send you a scope, timeline and quote.
- To deliver your project, share updates, collect feedback and hand over files.
- To send invoices and keep business and tax records.
- To send the free resources you request and, if you opt in, tell you about new ones.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
- To keep our website and systems secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases for using your information
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:
- Contract. To answer your request for a quote and to deliver a project you’ve hired us for.
- Legitimate interests. To run, secure and improve our website and business, and to follow up on inquiries, where those interests aren’t outweighed by your rights.
- Consent. For marketing emails and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation. To keep financial records and respond to lawful requests.
Your project materials
Pitch decks, financials, product plans and unreleased work are often confidential. We treat them that way.
- Your materials are only seen by the people working on your project.
- We use them only to deliver your project.
- We’re happy to sign an NDA before you share anything.
- We won’t feature your project in our portfolio without your permission.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep the site secure and working. These don’t need consent.
- Analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful and how visitors find us. Where the law requires it, we only set these after you agree.
- Behavior analytics through Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors scroll, click and move through our pages using heatmaps and anonymous session replays. Clarity hides text you type into forms, and where the law requires it, it only runs after you agree. You can learn more in Microsoft’s privacy statement.
Our site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
International transfers
We work with clients worldwide, and our team and service providers are in several countries, including the United States. This means your information may be processed outside the country where you live.
When we transfer personal information from the EEA or the UK, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months, so we can follow up and pick up the conversation if you come back.
- Client project records and invoices: as long as needed to deliver the project and support you afterwards, and as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Resource and newsletter contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls and trusted providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will act quickly if something goes wrong.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to request deletion and correction, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To use any of these rights, email suvas@graphicsground.com. We’ll respond within one month, or sooner where the law requires. We may need to confirm your identity first.
If you are in the EEA or UK and you’re unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We’d appreciate the chance to help first.
Marketing emails
We only send marketing emails, such as new free resources, if you’ve opted in or where the law otherwise allows it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to stop them at any time.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites and platforms, such as LinkedIn, Behance, Dribbble, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and Telegram. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll let clients and subscribers know by email.
